Am loving this gentle reminder today. Even this early on, she is learning and taking in far more than we realize. She hugs and kisses us constantly, where do you think she learned that? The other morning I had let her sneak into bed with us (okay, I put her there because I wanted more sleep and she was awake). She's all wide eyed looking around and then starts patting my face. I tell her "Mommy is trying to sleep, pat Daddy's face instead" NO hesitation, she just turns her little head, looks at Daddy and immediately starts patting his face! Yep, taking way more in than I ever thought possible this young. I'm trying to sing to her often, I want her to love the hymns the way that I do. Just little things, but oh so very important... And my attitude is one of those things she is taking in constantly! I need to remember this...
I think singing hymns is one of the easiest and most beautiful ways we can help our children learn to love God! And there's nothing cuter than a little three-year old who can sing every single word of a whole hymn! Enjoy your time with your little sponge! :-)
