1st Outfit

Well,  today after my ultrasound I was so excited that I finally gave in and bought a little outfit!  This is the first clothing I have bought for her...  and it's insanely small,  so I can only hope that it will fit!  :)  I'm thinking it will be used for either 1st pictures,  coming home,  or 1st meeting.  Or maybe a combination of the three :)

32 Weeks!

Finally got some recent belly photos taken tonight,  thanks to Jason for his great photography skills :)

Jason was off work today..  he was able to get a few projects done around the house (the toilet no longer leaks,  the garbage disposal works again,  and if he gets 3 for 3,  the sink he's working on right now won't leak anymore either!)

For supper we went out to eat at Cracker Barrel (chicken and dumplings for me and the sampler for Jay... YUM).  Then we went to Baby's R Us and bought the bassinet,  we had some R Us dollars that needed to be used up this week that we were able to use towards the total.  Always fun to get a bargain :)

Then And Now

I've not taken too many belly pictures this pregnancy...  I took some "before" pictures a few weeks after we found out we were pregnant,  and have a picture of Jay and I that I took in the fall where my belly is just starting to poke out... and I think tonight or tomorrow I might try to get a picture of me now,  at 31 weeks.  So for now I'll put the early ones up... I was only a few weeks along when I took these... we hadn't even told anyone we were pregnant yet! :)

And I will add 3rd trimester photos as soon as I get them taken.  For now I think I'm gonna go get a nap.  This blogging stuff is hard work ;)

She's Already Taking Over...

First she stole our hearts,  right from the moment we knew she was coming.  Then she started changing my body and causing major expansion of the belly area.  A little after that,  one of the spare bedrooms started shrinking because of the sheer amount of stuff being stored in there... you guessed it... all for Little Miss Dirks.  And now we're even starting a blog to keep up with all the little moments with her that we don't want to ever forget.  Yep... this little girl is already creating chaos and taking over everything before even being born... but we would NOT have it any other way!


So watch out everyone...  only 9 more weeks until Baby Girl Dirks is due to make her entrance and the real fun begins... don't ever say we didn't warn ya!!!! ;-)
